Summary: All Frontdesk stays are contactless self-check-in and include Scout, our exclusive digital companion to guide you through everything you'll need before and during your time with us. We're also available 24/7 via text or phone and have a local team should you need anything. Guests are required to follow all regional and building-specific COVID-19 policies. We continue to employ a professional cleaning staff adhering to OSHA and CDC guidelines to make sure your stay is clean and comfortable. The Space: Our studio apartment is furnished with a queen bed, a couch, and a queen-sized air mattress. It has everything you & your guests need to enjoy your stay in Pittsburgh! The kitchen is adorned with stainless steel appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, and basic cookware to cook simple meals for a cozy night in! There's a smart TV with Roku and Netflix (there is no cable) & free WiFi! A washer and dryer are also available inside the apartment for your convenience. This suite is situated above a training fitness facility. Classes and training can begin as early as 5AM, and noise can sometimes be heard inside the suite from training equipment and attending members. Anything in the apartment is yours to use. Make yourself at home once you arrive. We do not provide any tv cable or streaming services. However, we do offer Roku TV's with apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and more! Feel free to log into the apps with your own login and enjoy! Guest Access: You can access the building anytime after 3pm by using the lockbox to obtain the keys. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community. Our home is not baby-proofed, and may not be ideal for families with very small children, however, children are welcome at your own discretion. The Neighborhood: The Strip District is a narrow strip of land just outside of downtown Pittsburgh on the banks of the Allegheny River. As one of the trendiest and most popular shopping neighborhoods in the city, residents and visitors alike find its authenticity to be what Pittsburgh is all about. An oasis for food lovers, the Strip District offers low prices and an astounding variety of produce stands, international grocers, meat and fish markets, and independent vendors. All of this is alongside boutique shops, retailers, and some of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh with a broad range of international cuisines. Getting Around: There are plenty of options available to you, no matter where you need to go in Pittsburgh. The city’s public transportation system, has buses and T Light-Rail system. Taxis and Uber are also incredibly popular in the area. If you need to travel further, you can also rent a car which has multiple locations around the city. Other Things to Note: Please ensure you are booking with your full legal name. We have a strict 11am checkout. If you'd like to pay to check out later, the latest we can do is 1pm, at $25 per hour. Please let us know one day in advance if this is something you'd like to schedule! At Frontdesk, a core value is to be a good neighbor. We extend this 5-star stay to you, our guests, as well as our property partners. This means we have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or gatherings. To ensure this in the most comfortable and least intrusive way possible, we use a noise sensor to detect the noise level inside of the suite. The number of people inside the suite may not exceed the reserved guest amount at any time. While we do not anticipate the need, following multiple warnings, we will utilize local law enforcement to ensure compliance. If removal is required, it will be done at the guest's expense. Interaction with Guests: Most of our guests prefer to let themselves in with our lockbox entry system; however, we can be available upon request and are always available via phone call or text message should any questions or issues arise.
