Enjoy a relaxing getaway in the Berkshires. Enjoy your morning coffee/breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake. Take a swim from your private beach; go kayaking with the 3 available; enjoy a BBQ on the grill provide, enjoy the sunset while you sit around the fire pit on the beach roasting marshmallows. During winter months, enjoy downhill skiing at Mohawk Mountain, only 20 minutes away The surrounding area offers great restaurants, family friendly activities such as hiking, nature preserve and snow skiing, all in close proximity. For the adults, tour one of the local vineyards or the Litchfield Distillery, all just minutes away. The house is a great place to enjoy the beautiful Fall foliage, watch the ice boaters and ice fisherman in the winter. It is beautiful all year round. The house has everything you could need, sheets, towels, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen with all necessary cooking utensils. The house can be enjoyed by couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families with kids . Please check first before bringing a boat. Occupancy not to exceed 7. The Discovery + used the property to film an episode for the reality show 'UFO Witness" shown on the Travel Channel. Note: Renters swim at their own risk in the lake. The landlord takes no responsibility for the safety of the renter or any of their guests if they choose to go into the lake. If you plan to bring a boat, check with host first.
