Winston's Place is a cozy cabin nestled into a wooded backdrop, at the base of Mount Pleasant. Winston's Place is a charming cabin (built in 1970) on a quiet, dead end road, with woods behind the house (as well as many large trees in front and sides to give privacy from neighbors). Pet friendly! Short walk to the Esopus creek, less than 5 mins to Bread Alone Bakery and the IGA grocery store, 10 mins to Woodstock Brewing and Phoenicia Diner, 20 mins to Woodstock, 30 mins to Kingston. Outdoor local activities include hiking, fishing, swimming, tubing, skiing or snowboarding, exploring nearby towns, or you can lounge around the cabin or in the hammock, sun bathe on the deck, eat smores around the fire pit, fire up the propane grill or cuddle up indoors around the fireplace. Very closely located to popular wedding venues such as Foxfire Mountain House, The Emerson Resort and Onteora Mountain house. The shed is off limits to guests. We will always be available via phone/text/email. My husband and I own the neighboring home. We are happy to provide any recommendations during your stay, but we will give you your privacy. We do have neighbors but the cabin is set back from the dead end road, so traffic is minimal and feels very private. Our road is lovely for walks and we are just 1 mile away from the beautiful Ashokan Rail Trail. Family and pet friendly. Very close to a supermarket, farm stand, gas station, bank, restaurant and bakery.
