The split bedroom floor plan gives you privacy from your guests. The master suite offers a king bed and en-suite bathroom with a soaking tub. The guest bedroom offers a queen bed and bunk bed (full/twin) and a private bathroom. There is a single roll-away bed just in case you have an extra guest. When you are ready to venture to the beach, load up your beach equipment, and you'll find paradise in less than 5 minutes! Whether you enjoy combing the beach for shells, snorkeling, kayaking, sun-bathing, surfing waves, fishing, or taking a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, you'll spend hours of fun while soaking up the sun. For the fishing enthusiast, launch your boat at the nearby Mexico Beach Marina boat ramp or Port St. Joe boat ramp and take in some first-class fishing, or book your family on a fishing charter day trip out on the water to catch your dinner. After a long day at the beach, relax with your favorite beverage on the spacious front porch and enjoy the most amazing sunsets! Make your way to the backyard for some fun and games with your furry four-legged pets or kick back on the deck and bbq your favorite meal. When you are ready to venture out, visit nearby Port St. Joe for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Downtown offers cute shops along Reid Avenue, many restaurants and grocery stores. Don't forget to check out the historical Lighthouse and Sea Turtle Museum. We love our sea turtles! Mexico Beach is just a few miles away and offers restaurants and shops. For an adventure, take a ride to Cape San Blas and visit St. Joseph Peninsula State Park for access to the beach and the bay. It offers natural hiking trails, miles of untouched beaches and access to launch kayaks or paddle boards. For an amazing experience, you can horseback ride on the beach from Salinas Park. If you are interested in wildlife and natural beauty, plan a trip over to St. Vincent Island by ferry boat for the day. Hike around the island and explore our native wildlife and foliage. About 30 miles away is the historical fishing community of Apalachicola. It's perfect for a day trip to do a little shopping, stroll along the Apalachicola River or grab some of the best seafood around! You won't be disappointed! There's so many options to do without crowds or traffic! There is plenty of room for boat parking. This home comes with everything you need! All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. We also provide an initial supply of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, bath soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dishwasher detergent. CANCELLATION POLICY: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3% of all payments made. Reservations cancelled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations cancelled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations cancelled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments. Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old. 3 night minimum. This property is pet-friendly and allows up to 2 dogs.
