This is the perfect adult only getaway; not suitable for children. In less than 5 minutes, enjoy Lake Wallenpaupack Dam Overlook, Public Boat Launch and Fishing Dock, Palymra Beach and the town of Hawley. No matter the season, this area offers something for everyone:  boating, swimming, kayaking, golfing, fishing, hiking, skiing, rafting, sight seeing, train excursions, breweries, wineries and more.    While at the cottage, enjoy the hot tub, fire pit, or a relaxing outdoor shower under nature's pergola of 40' trees.   Warm and cozy best describes this newly renovated cottage. Inside, guests will find a fully equipped kitchen ready for them to cook the breakfast food provided, a smart TV in both the living room and bedroom with complimentary Roku TV, electric fireplace, games and a getaway guide that includes information for local dining and activities.  Outside, guests may enjoy the colorful Bohemian feel of the backyard while listening to music and soaking in the hot tub that is tucked away in the "Tub Hut", enjoying a refreshing outdoor shower, roasting S'mores  around the fire pit, playing corn hole, darts or dining at the patio table. Firewood and barbecue grill with propane is provided.   The location of our cottage is perfectly situated so that you can be close to it all without being in the middle of it.  It is five minutes away from the lake, walking trail, beach, restaurants and bars.  In a half hour or less, you can enjoy hiking in Promise Land State Park, rafting down the Delaware River or skiing at Big Bear.  It is suggested that you have a vehicle to enjoy this area.   --- All guests must be at least 21 years of age.  Children are not permitted. --- Maximum stay is 28 days.  --- Upon booking, guests will receive a link to a short form which must be completed in order to finalize reservation --- Smoking is permitted outdoors only and guests must use ashtray provided. --- Some amenites are not available during the colder months.  Guests should inquire about availability prior to booking. --- Depending on the day or length of stay, guests may see the house manager or landscaper outside the cottage performing maintenance on the lawn, flowers and hot tub. --- Ring security cameras are used to monitor the outside of the property.  --- For those who will be traveling with assistance / service animals, please review the following in the event we find it necessary to request related documentation upon your arrival:  Per the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania: ASSISTANCE AND SERVICE ANIMAL INTEGRITY ACT - ENACTMENT Act of Oct. 24, 2018, P.L. 733, No. 118  Right to request documentation.--A landlord or association that receives a request from a person to make an exception to the landlord's or association's policy prohibiting animals or limiting the size, weight, breed or number of animals on the landlord's property or within property controlled by the association because the person requires the use of an assistance animal or service animal may require the person to produce documentation of the disability and disability-related need for the animal only if the disability or disability-related need is not readily apparent or known to the landlord or, in the case of an association, the executive board of the association.
