Nestled in 20 wooded acres, you will find peace and relaxation at our charming log cabin! Red Dirt Lodge is situated at the riverside where you can enjoy an amazing sunset from one of our deck areas. Make s’mores around the backyard fire pit, or by the riverside where you will even find a cooler for your favorite beverages. With sleeping room for 10, your family or group is sure to have plenty of room to feel at home. On a rainy day, watch a movie from our extensive collection or play one of our many board games. A wood burning stove is sure to keep you warm on those cool nights. Prepare perfect cabin pancakes on our cast iron griddle and enjoy a cup of coffee by the river. Beautifully groomed trails throughout the property provide plenty of opportunity for walking, trail running, snow shoeing or cross country skiing. Bring your own, or enjoy our canoe or kayak to explore the Yellow River right out our door. Visit town for small town shops, eateries or the brewery. Visit nearby Shell Lake for excellent beach swimming. and lakeside dining. Spooner Lake has great ice fishing that isn’t over-populated. Washburn County is well known for its miles and miles of snowmobile trails. Maybe you’re visiting Spooner for hunting camp. Red Dirt Lodge has plenty of space to hang your hunting gear. Winter, summer, spring or fall Red Dirt Lodge is sure to keep you busy!
