The Offshore - A Walkable Wakefield Carriage House

The Offshore is a newly built, airy and clean one bedroom apartment above a modern carriage house fully stocked with all of the comforts of home. The apartment is centrally located and serves as an ideal landing spot for a southern Rhode Island getaway. You have the option to take the bike path to many beaches and Narragansett Pier or walk two blocks to Main Street Wakefield for a morning coffee at Caf Bar, Phils or South Country Bread Company and post beach ice cream at Brickley's. Apartment is located above a stand alone garage with a full kitchen, one bedroom with a workspace, living room, large bathroom and a patio for outdoor dining. The space features prints from local photographer. You will have the entire apartment for your use but you will not have access to the garage. . There is off street parking for one car. Located in a quiet neighborhood filled with updated historic homes. Location is two blocks to food, bars, grocery store, parks, and the beach. Complementary beach cruisers included so you can enjoy the bike path which you can access across the street and ride to URI or the beach! Off street parking is available for one car. Hosts live in the main house on the property. We are young family with a 1 year old son and a 12 year old golden retriever. We know the area well and are can help to give you recommendations and ideas during your stay and are available for anything you may need but will give you your space and respect your privacy. Guest house is located in a residential neighborhood just around the corner from Main St. Wakefield and the bike path which will take you to the beach or to URI and check out the farmers market. Great coffee shops, restaurants and fitness options nearby. Located in downtown historic Wakefield, a quick walk will reach several cafes and restaurants. Cross the street to access the bike path, following it into Narragansett for easy access to the beach or to URI (Kingston AMTRAK Train Station with service to Boston and NYC). Short drive to Narragansett, Galilee for Block Island Ferry and Matunuck Beaches. Easy access to Newport, Jamestown, Charlestown and Westerly. 30 minutes to TF Green Airport. Linens include beach towels. We are sorry we cannot host pets at this time, no exceptions. In addition to being professionally cleaned and sanitized between each stay, the home is stocked with sanitizing wipes, spray, and other cleaning necessities for your comfort.
