Trout Lake Farmstead
The Trout Lake Farmstead is the birthplace of the first commercial, organic herb farm in North America. The property is at the foot of Mt. Adams in the beautiful, fertile valley. Guests will enjoy the stunning mountain view, a covered bridge over the White Salmon River and all the charm of the 1919 craftsman-style home. The Farmstead house is a Sears, Roebuck and Co. kit home from 1919 complete with a full wraparound porch, several built-in book shelves, a clawfoot tub, brass fixtures and accents, and a cozy breakfast nook that faces Mt. Adams. There is also a large yard and pavilion for entertaining. Hosts will be available to check guests in to the property. The laundry facilities on the property are used by staff to service several rentals in the valley. You can have access to the washer and dryer by request.
