Decorated in the calming colors of the coast, this darling home features a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a furnished three-season porch where you can savor your morning coffee. Fire up the gas grill and enjoy a cookout at home. There are also two shared gas grills available to guests in the central area near the pool. What's nearby: This cottage sits directly alongside the tranquil salt marsh of the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve, giving you a front-row seat for observing local shore birds. You can easily spend your days in the soft sand of Wells Beach (one mile east), or find a change of scenery at lovely Ogunquit Beach only four miles south. There are a number of great restaurants and eateries just a few steps away, including Mike's Clam Shack, The Steakhouse, Billy's Chowder House, Congdon's Doughnuts, and the always entertaining Congdon's After Dark Food Truck Park to enjoy on weeknights in the summer. You'll find treasure-filled antique shops all along Route 1 in Wells, and a wonderful day trip option in charming Kennebunkport only seven miles northeast.
