The house is completely powered by the energy of the sun with a high tech solar panel installation. Heat pump technology supplies cold and hot air in the shared space on the 1st floor as well as hot water for the entire house. -Parking on premise. During winter months Street parking ban is in effect Dec 1st - April 30th. Regular parking is shared with guest during those months. Details provided at booking! -Back deck available for guest to use -During summer months. Small pool available. Please check with us prior to using the pool. - Private bathroom/shower on the 1st floor for guest. (Bathroom is solely for the use of guest(s). It isn't connected to the room. About 5-6 steps away around the corner) -Shared living room that guest are more than welcome to use - Kitchen appliances and utensils available for guest to use -Shared fridge available for guest to use. I understand each guest is different. Therefore I do my very best to meet each guest specific needs. I love to interact with people and guest are always invited to join activities I have around the house. At the same time should a guest needs privacy, I am very respectful of that as well. In-town are Colby (and its Art Museum) and Thomas Colleges, many ethnic restaurants, two movie theaters, one with a festival (MIFF), and the Waterville Opera House. Day trips offer the Maine coast, New England Music Camp, and lakes and mountains, including world-class ski area Sugarloaf. Mount Katahdin. Camden National Park.
