A living space studiously curated to combine the comforts of modern day with the history, science and art of bygone eras. Step into a space where one can enjoy, experience and learn about many things from carpentry tools, photographic arts, pottery, textiles, music and literature to what is considered the foundations of craftsman style . Much of the decor either fits the arts and crafts movement or was purchased locally. Many pieces have stories. The first floor is primarily yours. The entry is shared and currently the living room is visible to anyone in the entry way. There are now two bedrooms, ( the twin bedroom is more of an alcove off the back addition to the house where the bath is also located) bath and kitchenette on the first floor. A pocket door can be closed and locked to secure everything but the living room. The first floor is set up for guest access as well as the yard and back patio. Please do not park on the asphalt area beside the property. It does not belong to us. Your parking is the concrete area in front of the building. The gravel drive on the other side of the house is under old trees that are losing limbs. We would ask you not to park there either. You probably won’t run into me unless you ask me to meet you. I live 20 minutes away and may be working at the property but would check with you before coming down. This property is on the main (north/south) road through Millersburg. Traffic can be busy in the daytime but gets relatively calm in the evening. Your main transportation should likely be a vehicle but the Holmes county Rails to Trails path is just across the street behind Deerfield park. There is a shop to rent bikes and E-bikes and regular bikes in Holmesville 10 miles north but the depot in Millersburg may also rent bikes... they used to... Several fast food locations south in Millersburg and several locally owned restaurants in downtown Millersburg. The collection diary has not yet been created but I have been collecting information and can give you history on many pieces.
