The Owls Nest - Lakeside Cabin Retreat

Secluded and relaxing lakeside cabin with panoramic views of beautiful Lake Fort Gibson. Start your morning off with a fresh cup of coffee in the sunroom. Take some time to appreciate nature with our short hikes and walking trails that wind through the 6 wooded acres. Unwind while you grill dinner on the 1500 square foot outdoor living area. Stroll down to the private dock to relax while watching a sunset over the water. Roast some s'mores together over the fire pit to end your evening. The cabin is a one bedroom, one bath cottage with a large sunroom and panoramic views of the lake. Kitchenette with microwave, stovetop, and coffee maker. Living room with sofa bed, large TV, and fireplace. Outside living area has a grill, smoker, bar, outdoor dining area, fire pit with chairs, and a hammock area for ultimate relaxation. You have full use of the cabin, and are welcome to use the private boat dock for swimming and fishing. Check in advance if boat slip is available. There are some walking trails throughout the 6 acre wooded hills on the property. I am not always on the property, but available by phone as needed. There is a neighborhood to the north of the property. The Owls Nest is near Sequoyah State Park and Paradise Marina. Boat rentals, horseback riding, hiking trails, and restaurants are available at the state park. Highway 80 is a beautiful drive between Hulbert and the Ft Gibson Dam, motorcycle enthusiasts love the winding roads and hills of this scenic drive.
