New cabins sitting on an acre of land. We tried to think of everything you might need to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Each cabin is 660 sf. with high ceilings and feel very spacious. Very hot water and new appliances. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you might need to prepare a meal. Dish soap and dish towels are provided. Crockpot, blender, coffee maker, mixer, toaster and microwave. Lots of large bowls and utensils for cooking. Fully furnished with a king sized bed, , dresser and large closet. Well lit inside and outside. Open concept kitchen and living room. Bathroom has a hairdryer and plenty of towels , washcloths and bathmat. Starter toilet paper and paper towels are provided. . Full laundry room with washer and dryer. Cable TV (Direct TV) Wifi -satellite - 100mbps a month. Viasat is our only WiFi source in the rural area. It works great and rarely have any interruptions. We generally use 200 + mbps a month without a noticeable delay. It’s internet and it has delays sometimes. Streaming uses the most internet. It will be slower. I recommend a hotspot for streaming. We are on an acre of land in a very quiet rural neighborhood. It is an unincorporated part of Ellis county. The neighbors are also mostly on an acre of land. Some have horses, goats and chickens. It’s not unusual to see a lose horse or chicken. It’s not a fancy neighborhood. The neighbors are very nice. It’s an older established neighborhood. There are restaurants and shopping about 1-2 miles away. Downtown Ferris has some family owned restaurants, Brookshires grocery store, dollar stores and gas stations. The super Walmart is in Red Oak. Fully fenced huge backyard. There is a new smaller fenced in area around the back porch for your dog. They can use the larger area to run and play. You decide. Located between major Interstates I-35 and I-45 19 miles to Dallas 9 miles to Red Oak 15 miles to Waxahachie 32 miles to Corsicana 15 miles to Ennis Approximately 30-35 miles to the entertainment district in Arlington Texas. Texas Ranger Baseball Stadium, Dallas Cowboy Stadium, Six Flags over Texas, Hurricane Harbor and Nokia Theater 40 Miles to DFW Airport 28 Miles to Dallas Love Field 45 miles to FT. Worth A new storage shed for the owner was added to the cabin in July. There is another cabin next door that is a STR as well. Only 1-2 ppl can stay. The cabins are connected by the storage building now. They do not share any walls with the other cabin. Just the storage building. (New county rules). There is a nice RV on the property most of the time. There are cameras outside of the cabin in the front. One is a doorbell camera and the other looks over the gate to the backyard. I cannot see the backyard or deck areas. There are flood lights on each end of the cabin. Porch lights on front and back decks. Very well lit.
