The Room @ Niwot Ridge

Nestled high in the Rocky Mountains just above the town of Ward, Colorado “The Room” @ Niwot Ridge awaits you. This cozy bedroom sleeps two and includes a huge walk-in closet, small kitchenette and a private full bathroom. Located 40 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park, only 5 minutes to Brainard Lake Recreation Area, 15 minutes from Nederland and just 20 minutes to Eldora Mountain Resort, “The Room” is simply the perfect spot to fall into deep slumber after an exciting adventurous day. Please enjoy our full bathroom, super comfy queen size bed and simple kitchenette. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash and fresh towels. The bed is made up with nice sheets suitable for the seasons (flannel or cotton). The kitchenette is equipped with a granite counter top, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, mini fridge and freezer and all necessary utensils you might need. *ATTENTION SNOW ADVENTURERS* The season is upon us! Please consider “The Room” for your cozy and convenient place to stay. Our home is 20 minutes to the Alpenglow Lift @ Eldora Mountain Resort. Sit back and enjoy your short but absolutely beautiful drive along the infamous Peak to Peak Scenic Byway to and from an excellent day of Skiing or Boarding. We are also just 4 minutes from miles of lovely cross country skiing/snow shoeing/hiking trails @ Brainard Lake Recreation Area. Come visit us during the winter months (bring our four wheel drive vehicle) you won’t be disappointed. Guests have access to the ground level bedroom and bathroom ONLY. Phone interactions are encouraged. Email and texts preferred. The town of Ward is 3 minutes away, you will find The Glass Tipi art gallery, Jackleggers Mercantile, five star Italian restaurant Marrocco’s Family Dining. The Gold Hill Inn (rustic fine dining restaurant and music venue) is 15 minutes only away. Brainard Lake Recreational Area is 5 minutes away, with access to Indian Peaks Wilderness and National Forrest. The Alpenglow lift @ Eldora Mountain Resort is 20 mins from our front door. Nederland is 10 minutes away, you will find all sorts of cute shops and tasty restaurants, several bars, skatepark, town park (with lovely, short, trails that wind around), grocery store, liquor stores, dispensary’s, etc. Please feel free ask questions if you’d like. Four wheel drive or all wheel drive is highly recommended all year round and is required from October 1st - June 1st. We have a steep driveway and it is snow packed all winter long. Bring your mountain bikes to easily get to and from town in the summer months. Please limit water use as much as possible. 15 minute long showers max. Please only flush toilet paper down the toilet, we have a septic system. Please don’t park in front of the garage doors. Please be respectful, we live here. Quiet, well behaved pets are welcome. If you have a pet it MUST be on a leash at all times. We have horses on our property. If your dog does not like horses, please don’t bring it to our house. Your pet may NOT be left on our property(in the room or in your vehicle) unattended during your stay. We live in the mountains, our WiFi is NOT suitable for movies, streaming, video calls or work related use. Four wheel drive is highly recommended in the summer months and REQUIRED in the winter months.
