Stylish Smokey Mountain Retreat w/King & Loft

Remodeled Smokey Mountain Retreat! Leave the noise and traffic behind but remain close enough to enjoy the numerous activities of the Pigeon Forge area. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the true mountains, not just the foothills, while staying in a cozy & updated chalet style condo with great views. This intimate & gated resort is only 20 scenic miles up the mountain from the main area of Pigeon Forge. The top scenic attraction for the area, The Smokey Mountain National Park has a less congested back entrance near Cosby only 15 miles away! It is also close to some other awesome, rural activities such as Forbidden Caverns, Foxfire Mountain and English Mountain Trout Farm & Grill so you can do many awesome things without fighting the traffic congestion of Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. Bring the kids who will love the 2nd bedroom which is a short, but spacious loft designed especially for kids. Our English Mountain Retreat nestled in the scenic Smokey Mountains is freshly remodeled with all new LVP flooring, silestone & wood tops, new applainces, painted & glazed cabinets, new custom master bedroom furniture with closet barn doors, vaulted wood & beam ceilings and more. This serene & intimate resort is located near the top of English Mountain and it has a gated entrance for added security. For amenities it offers a seasonal outdoor pool, sauna, game room, multiple charcoal BBQ areas, great views, lots of parking and coin laundry facilities. Our unit has two cozy fireplaces which really adds to the ambiance of a mountain retreat! One real wood burning fireplace in main living area and an electric one built into the custom dresser in the master bedroom. The views from all the spaces are incredible looking out at mountains or the beauty of nature! It is truly stunning all year around! The master bedroom is extremely cozy and lodge like with custom built furniture, vaulted wood & beam ceiling, closet barn doors, large glass patio doors for gazing out and an electric fireplace for ambiance and/or heat. The loft/second bedroom is a truly unique space that is the perfect height for younger kids although my adult girls use it and they really love it! They just duck their head in certain spots! It is really cozy up there with the wood & beam ceilings and lots of space in spite of the low ceiling. Just be warned that the unique ladder style stairs is a little on the steep side so it is NOT really suitable for toddlers or anyone who may struggle with stairs. We are still stocking this area with games and more furniture. We also have a full air mattress which could be used in the main living area for extra guests who want or need to stay on the main level. Just a note of caution this unit is an upper floor unit with stairs and no elevator. Please note that this resort has locals that live here permanently and therefore has mandatory quiet hours. This unit cannot be used as a party unit. It is part of a quaint but older resort up the mountain. Resort has thinner walls and we do have one shared wall with our neighbors. Please beware that sound carries within the unit walls! Our price reflects the location and limitations of the resort. Please note that snow and ice in the winter can cause issues driving in the mountains. Watch the weather close before and during your stay. If the weather forecast is bad for your drive up the mountain please reach out. We are more than happy to work with you to postpone or refund your stay. We do NOT want anyone driving up or down on icy roads. The beautiful ride up the mountain has great paved roads but they wind and curve up the mountain therefore go slow, enjoy the scenery and allow about 30-35 minutes from the main areas of Pigeon Forge or Sevierville. For a fun outing that is close to our retreat, Forbidden Caverns is only 3.2 miles down the most beautiful but mountainous paved road towards Sevierville. We gaurantee that the ride down will be part of the excitement if you are up for it! Then, less than a mile further you can catch your own trout and have them prep and cook it for you at the English Mountain Trout Farm & Grill. If you need gas, groceries or takeout continue on and turn left at Newport Highway for a Dollar General, Subway & Food City Grocery Store. They are only another 6-7 miles further towards Sevierville. Foxfire Mountain is only 11 miles from our retreat in the other direction for some awesome ziplining, hiking or ATV & rafting tours. We will provide further details regarding the directions and roads with the condo packet.
