The Peasant's Quarters has an eat-in kitchen with a full-size stove/frig. In the bedroom is a queen-size bed. We also have a queen-size pull-out couch. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Come bike in the area and bring your motorcycles. Hiking is out of this world in ADK. There are lots of ponds to fish in. We live on 7 acres where you can take beautiful short walks. Lk Champlain is 5 mins. down the road. We live in the Adirondacks Mts with many ponds to fish in. We are near Burlington VT./Lake Placid NY. Off the ramp take a left and travel to Westport and then into Port Henry. Then plug your GPS in to be here in two shakes of a lamb's tail to start enjoying your stay. It is best to bring your food and drink needs with you for your first day/night. We do have a Stewart's shop that is open until 10 pm. It has gas and snacks and an ATM. Coming from the south there is exit 29 or 30. GO ON THE ENSIGN POND ROAD or the Tracy RD.. Look for the Port Henry sign. BUT the best way is to go to EXIT 31 and travel on RT9N/22 south to get here. By car or bike. Parking is free. Because of our small-town feel, we don't have a full offering of groceries to choose from. We have Stewart's store where you can get gas, ATMs,s, etc. They are open until 11 PM. We also have a local farm store where you can buy homegrown products like meats/eggs/bread. Sit-down dining is just a few mins away. Come stay a night or a week we would love to have you as our guest. It's time to put away your long johns. Pets are welcome and you take them on walks right here. Many short drives to great foods and entertainment for all.
