Welcome to Green Acre, the place to be! Come experience Pennsylvania Dutch country from the tranquility of our newly renovated home right in the middle of it all! Bring the whole family and enjoy our spacious home together. Watch the world go by from our relaxing front porch one block from the Intercourse crossroads. Walk to Kitchen Kettle Village, local shops, and restaurants right from the front door. All of the other Lancaster County attractions are just a short drive away! Our first floor kitchen is stocked with the essentials. Coffee maker and ground coffee, k-cup machine Sugar and sweeteners and honey. Salt and pepper, spices and flour and oil. Microwave, toaster and a crockpot. A large island with stools for 4 and a table with seating for 4 more. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’ll need to cook family style meals together. Our living room is spacious with brand new comfortable couches. We offer smart TV and high speed internet with WIFi, a table with 6 chairs for games and a work space. We have books, dvds, puzzles and card games and some toys and books for your children. You’ll have fun playing games or watching movies in the living room. Our home is a two story house with sleeping arrangements for 14 people. We have four bedrooms all located on the second floor. Our bedrooms include two queen beds, two double beds, and three twin beds (two of which are top bunks). On the first floor we have a sleeper sofa in the sun room. We provide hand soap, shampoo, towels and washcloths, linens and pillows, and extra blankets. There are two full bathrooms, the main bathroom is located on the first floor with a standard size tub and shower and a heat lamp. The second bathroom is upstairs with all the bedrooms and has a small original clawfoot tub. There are extra towels for everyone. The entry foyer has our welcome book and has a long hook rack for all your belongings. A bench to change your shoes and we offer a washer and dryer. In addition to the front porch, you’ll enjoy a secluded large back deck and private lawn. We have combined modern amenities with historic charm to provide you with a one of a kind space to host your group. This home is perfect for families or groups with plenty of room to play together or find some solitude reading a book on a rocking chair on the porch. *We kindly ask that the number of guests staying overnight reflects the number on the reservations. We try to set our price appealing to groups of 6 but appropriate for groups of 14. If you have any questions about this please don't hesitate to ask us. We live close enough to stop by if you need us to, and are happy to visit or meet you at the house when we can, but due to our schedule we will not always be there to check you in. The house is very user friendly and we will be a phone call away to help with anything that you may need. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly with plenty of privacy. You can walk a few minutes to Intercourse and enjoy all of the famous amenities and attractions featured in our guide. You can walk to Kitchen Kettle Village for shopping and food. Lots of attractions are walkable or a short drive away. We have a long private driveway for lots of off street parking. Please make note of the Departure instructions in the Welcome Manual. There will be additional charges if we have to clean up your dishes and strip the beds and take out the trash.
