Summary: Welcome to Sutton Hollow Lodge! Our home is located just outside Windham, NY and is the perfect getaway for friends and families to enjoy. The house itself was recently renovated to have all the modern amenities (including ones you might expect from resort hotel), but also has the thoughtful charm to be your home away from home. Enjoy your morning coffee on the outdoor terrace, overlooking the creek out front that you can hear softly echoing among the trees, or an afternoon cocktail al fresco in our backyard, surrounded with twinkle lights. We have everything you need for the perfect getaway, whether you love hiking, skiing, relaxing, cooking, adventuring or all of the above. Located in just outside Windham NY, Sutton Hollow Lodge is a recently renovated house has the thoughtful charm to be your home away from home, but also includes many of the in-home amenities you might expect from a resort hotel. Nestled just east of the Town of Windham, the house is only a 7 min drive to Windham Mountain and approximately 27min drive to Hunter Mountain. The location is perfect for winter skiing, sledding, and snowboarding. In the fall, hike below the beautiful foliage, and in the spring/summer be sure to check out the nearby mountain biking, golfing, more hiking, antiquing, and local farms & vineyards. Follow us at @stayatlina on Instagram, and be sure to tag the house when you stay! #SuttonHollowLodge The Space: Sleeping Arrangements Sutton Hollow Lodge - Windham has 3 traditional bedrooms including 1 King Size Bedroom (which has a bathroom en suite), 1 bedroom with 1 full sized bed, and 1 King Size Bedroom upstairs. Also upstairs is an open space that has a full bed and a pull out sofa in the case you wanted to sleep 2 more people during your stay for a total of 7 guests to spread out in the home. All bedrooms feature Casper Mattresses (except the pull out sofa upstairs), quality linens and are thoughtfully decorated. There is a Smart TV in the King bedroom, where you can easily sign into your Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming account (we don'd have cable). Bedrooms have closets with shelving so you can comfortably unpack for your stay. Each room has its own climate control so that guests can adjust to their individual preference. The Kitchen The Kitchen is equipped with all new appliances and finishes as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans, general spices, and basically all the tools you need to make morning pancakes, spaghetti Bolognese dinner, and everything in between. (Groceries not provided.) For morning coffee, there is a coffee machine, please feel free to bring along your favorite roast. You will find all the dish ware, serve ware, and drink ware you need for such a large group to dine, but don’t worry, we have you covered with a dishwasher too. Bathrooms There are 2 and a half bathrooms in Sutton Hollow Lodge, one of which has a large bathtub, perfect for filling with bubbles or salts to kick back and relax. Every shower has a rain head and body sprayer, and all of our bathrooms are stocked with toiletries, a hair dryer in each, and super plush towels. More In the main entertaining area is a Living Room adjacent to the kitchen and dining room. Here you will find a comfy sofa, coffee table, lounge chairs and a 65” Smart TV, perfect for family and friends to gather around and relax. The Dining Room features a large table with enough seats for your group to dine together. Outdoors Step out to the backyard and you will find picnic tables for you and your kid guests too. If BBQ-ing is your thing, we have you covered with a propane grill. An extra tank is provided in case the one there runs low and needs to be swapped out. On the left side there is a fire pit surrounded with Adirondack chairs for your entire group to gather around. We provide you with a fire starter kit and good amount of wood for multiple nights of fires. Guest Access: Guest can enjoy the privacy of the entire house, private deck, fire pit, and seating areas around the yard. The Neighborhood: There are two markets nearby as well as a wine & liquor store for your convenience. This house is so well located that you will find great Food & Drink options moments away, including Brio’s, Phoenicia Diner, Oakleys Woof Fire & Pizza Grill, J Roccos Creekside Grill, and Woodstock Brewing. Just a little further away (25 or so minute drive) you’ll find an even broader assortment including Hunter Mountain Brewery, The Mud Club, and Silvia. If you are looking for the great outdoors, there’s something for everyone - year round. At Belleayre (just 15 minutes away) you’ll find skiing in the winter, and come summer - swimming, boating, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, picnicking, horseshoe pits, volleyball, basketball, fishing, great relaxation and so much more. Catskill Thunder Gondola to the summit of Belleayre Mountain provides breathtaking views of the Catskill Forest Preserve. Slightly further away you will find Hunter Mountain with 320 skiable acres, 67 trails, 13 lifts, and Hunter Mountain’s nearly 1000 feet long tubing hill, a “no-skills” fun activity for the whole family. Drive out a little more and you will find yourself at Windham Mountain with 85 skiable acres and 54 trails over two peaks, 6 terrain parks and 11 lifts. These are just a few of the fun activities that away you when you book your stay at Chateau Lodge. Other Things to Note: CHECK IN The check-in will be contactless and keyless. Before you arrive, we will send you the code to the door lock. PARKING Please feel free to utilize the entire driveway for your vehicles throughout the length of your stay. Note that we are not responsible for personal items left in your car. HOUSE ACCESS The entire house is yours for the length of your stay. Feel free to enjoy the fire pit and seating areas around the yard. Note that this home does sit along a main road and occasionally the traffic can be heard from inside. OUTSIDE GUESTS If you'd like to add an additional guest to the booking, please be sure to add them to the reservation or reach out to Stay at Lina team if your stay has already begun. We can typically accommodate up to the max number of guests noted on the original listing and no more. We cannot offer customer service for extra people who don’t have an official reservation through the platform, and any liability waivers won’t apply. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS SECURITY Stepping out of the house? Keep your belongings safe and secure by remembering to close and lock all the doors and windows before leaving the property. CHECK OUT Our check-out time is at 11:00 AM. Please make sure to do the dishes (it’s ok to place the remaining dishes in the dishwasher and start the cycle), take the trash out and close the door before leaving. Don’t forget to do a final walk thru of the house to make sure you haven’t left behind any personal items. FRIENDS OF MOTHER NATURE Please note that we are located in the countryside, surrounded by trees and foliage. Although we have regularly scheduled pest control services in and around the home and yard, you are still likely to see a few insects or other living beings from Mother Nature. We ask that you do your best to keep outside doors closed as much as possible to limit the amount of outdoor creatures from sneaking in. PETS We love pets and allow them in our houses, but please let us know if your are bringing your furry friend(s) along. Please understand that all of our furniture and decor is new and pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds. You will be responsible for any visible wear or damage your pets may cause. The maximum number of pets we allow is two. Interaction with Guests: The check-in will be contact-less. Before your arrival, you will be given the code to access the house.
