The house sits at the end of a private road and its layout is perfect for a large family or two families vacationing together that want separate sleeping quarters. Close to Camden and all midcoast attractions. The space The house is bright and welcoming with an open-air design. Two front entries invite you into the home, one formal and the other into the large mudroom with plenty of space for shoes and jackets. The kitchen features a full refrigerator with ice maker, electric stove, microwave, and dishwasher and is fully equipped with pots, pans, cooking utensils, basic spices, cooking oil, dishes and tableware, if you prefer to cook in, or you are just 1.5 miles (a 4-minute drive) from downtown Camden and its many wonderful restaurants and shops. The kitchen counter seats 6 and the dining room seats 8+. The dining and living rooms are open to the kitchen, allowing you to flow in and out and stay connected with your group. The living room opens into the game/TV room which features a smart TV as well as books, games, and children’s toys. A half bath is just across the hall. Upstairs you will find four bedrooms, a spacious bathroom with bathtub/shower and two sinks, and a laundry room complete with full size washer and drier, table for folding, ironing board & iron, and detergent and drier sheets. The master bedroom has a private full bathroom with a shower and a TV that has local access as well as a Roku to stream your favorite programs. A laptop-friendly workspace, complete with a large computer desk, basic office supplies, and a computer monitor (upon request) is located in another bedroom. Each bedroom has big windows with shades and large closets and bureaus (dressers?) to store your belongings. We also have a toddler bed available upon request. The house is nestled in the woods just 4 minutes from Camden and has unlimited free parking. The spacious outdoor deck (patio?) overlooks a large, open yard with plenty of room for outdoor games. (provided? badminton? crochet? yard games?) At night, enjoy the fireflies and the way the stars light up away from the town lights. There is also a fire pit for sitting out and cooking s’mores. High speed internet is provided, along with all linens, dishes, full cookware, basic condiments, packaged coffee, tea, laundry soap, bath soap, shampoo and conditioner, and hairdryers. Self check-in is available, or the Host will welcome you at arrival if you prefer. The Host will not be present at the house during your stay but can always be reached by phone or email in case of questions or issues. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house except the walk in basement which has a separate entry and is used as storage by the hosts. Guests have access to the entire yard, outdoor deck, and fire pit. Unlimited free parking is available.
