Get away from it all and make the best memories with loved ones in the fresh air of Orick! Comprising two separate spaces, this getaway is the perfect place to bring multiple groups or families. One side is a studio and the other is a three-bedroom cabin with more than enough room to spread out. When everyone works up an appetite, the full kitchen in the larger space boasts a gas range, breakfast bar seating, and all of the utensils needed to whip up tasty recipes. If you're feeling like a more casual dining option, head out to the back deck to cook up some burgers using the private gas grill and dine al fresco at the picnic table. When the stars come out, everyone can settle in for a movie night by plopping down on the plush sofa and streaming Netflix on the flatscreen TV. What's nearby: Sitting on beautiful acreage, this retreat is just the place to get away from it all while still being a mere three miles from the heart of Orick. The Northern California Coast is known for its raw beauty and towering trees, and you will have access to it all within minutes of your front door. If hiking is on the agenda, simply make your way to the Trillium Falls Trail (one mile), Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park (three miles), or the famous Redwood National and State Parks (10 miles south). Then explore the primeval ferns of Fern Canyon and the moody beaches of Northern California, and learn their secrets on a guided tour with Redwood Adventures. You can also get your fill of salty air and soft sand by following Davison Road to Golden Bluffs Beach. Things to know: The hot tub is currently not available There is a surveillance camera on the property at the entry gate pointing toward the highway, and one on the fence by the water tanks facing Valley Green Camp Road with a wide view of the property Smaller groups can book each side of this cabin separately at Elk Meadow 17A Gold Rush Suite and Elk Meadow 17B Gold Rush Studio Food and Dining: The wildlife is fantastic because Elk Meadow Cabins is remote. We highly recommend that you bring your own groceries or make reservations at nearby sit-down restaurants. The Orick town market and Shoreline Deli are our nearest convenience stores. Parking notes: There is room for three vehicles in front of the unit. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
