Hardy’s Haven: A Private & Cozy Barn Conversion

Our barn suite was built the summer of (2019). We are looking to welcome travellers who want a quiet space with a unique outlook. Our suite is a barn conversion totally separate from the main house that offers ultimate privacy. We will be 100% available to offer any directions or information you may want. Hardy’s Haven is a new 400 sq. ft. studio apartment with plenty of natural light and all the amenities any visitor would want. It offers a full-size kitchen and bathroom with walk in shower. We are a 3 minute drive from the airport and an 8 minute drive into Sidney by the Sea. There is a lovely wooded walking trail adjoining the property and we’re located at a dead end street. Because our suite is in a barn conversion, our guests have full access to the property surrounding the barn. There is a full laundry room inside the barn with cleaning supplies for our guests convenience. We are available to answer any questions at any time. Just text us, email us phone us with your inquiries. You can also walk around to our front door and knock, but be aware that you will get a very vocal welcome from our 3 dogs. Even though we are close to the airport the woods between the airport and our neighbourhood make our streets quiet and private. The homes around our 2 acre property are all on 1/2 acre lots which gives us all room to breathe. There are lots of walking trails in the neighbourhood and The Roost Vinyard & Farm Bakery is just a 3 minute drive or a brief 14 minute walk. Getting around our area by car is the easiest way to get from point A to B, but we are well-equipped for cyclists. There is a 10 km cycling trail around the airport and bike lanes on all the major streets. You can also cycle to the Lochside Trail which goes all the way into Victoria. If you are a walker there is a straightforward walking route that goes across the highway over an overpass right down to the ocean. Because we are relatively rural, a vehicle is a must.
