Skiers Retreat 10 mins from Hunter

This three bedroom, two bathroom restored farmhouse has a creek in its own backyard. Walk from the house to the creek through a garden built by a master gardener over many years. In the summer enjoy the outdoors on a hammock creekside in the garden or build a fire in the fire pit. Have lunch at the picnic table right on the creek. Located halfway between Hunter mountain and Phoenicia this puts you right in the center of everything. The beautiful town of Phoenicia is located in the heart of the Catskill Mountains and its only an hour and a half from NYC. Between site seeing, hiking, and tubing on the Esopus river, the summer is packed with activities for the whole family. Giant Ledge in Big Indian is an hour hike to the top where you will have surreal views from multiple ledges. Kaaterskill Falls is another great hike that takes you to the highest two-tiered waterfall in New York. The area in and around Phoenicia only 15 minutes from Woodstock is an antiquing and foodies dream. If you plan to visit in the winter months we are just a short ride to Hunter, Bellayre, and Windham ski resorts. Hunter Mountain is one of the best ski mountains in New York and its only 10 mins away. They offer many activities year round including the Trailblazer Festival and Mountain Jam.
