HENRY POINT in Brooksville

Enjoy a visit to the Blue Hill Peninsula with a stay at Henry Point, a charming little cottage nestled beside the Bagaduce River, a scenic tidal river emptying into Penobscot Bay, known for its diverse wildlife habitat. The beach, a combination of sand, rocks, and seaweed, is accessed by a convenient board walkway. Guests enjoy easy water access for kayaking directly from the beach. This cozy, single level cottage includes a small kitchen, dining room, living room and three bedrooms (king, two twins and single twin) and one bathroom with shower. Enjoy the beautiful view and warm breezes from the water side deck, picnic table and hammock. There is a convenient outside shower to rinse off after beach time. There is no TV at this property nor washer/dryer, however there is a laundromat in Blue Hill, about 15 minutes away. The area is home to many artisans, unique shops and galleries, a variety of delicious eateries and is about an hour to Acadia National Park. Saturday to Saturday rentals in July and August. Animals are not permitted at this property due to owner allergies.
