Family Fun w/ Private Dock, Movie Room, and Calm Water!

THE HOUSE: This large (newer) home has everything you need for a fun week at the lake. Perfect for multiple families or couples wanting a relaxing and fun getaway in a quieter cove and neighborhood. The +4800 sqft home features two full kitchens, two living areas, two dining areas, 5 bedrooms/3 baths, two screened-in porches, two open porches, a two-car garage, and a private dock and swim platform. Three bedrooms are upstairs and two are downstairs (Flat screen TVs are in both living rooms and three of the bedrooms – Dish is the satellite service for TV & movies, Viasat is the satellite service used for internet). If the weather keeps you inside there are plenty of games for the kids and a ping pong table in the downstairs game room/laundry room. Finish the night visiting with a glass of wine in front of the gas fireplace on the screened in back porch or enjoy a family movie in the movie room with 12 reclining seats. THE DOCK: Enjoy time on the dock fishing, swimming, kayaking, and/or rent a boat or jet skis (there is a 10’boat slip, a 12’ boat slip, and 1 side-mounted drive-on PWC lift). There are 4 lounge chairs, a table w/ chairs, and foldup chairs for extra seating as well as a mini fridge on the dock. THE AREA: The closest restaurant on the water (by boat or car) is a pirate themed restaurant called Jolly Roger's (https://www.grubngrog.com). They have summer cruises on a pirate ship that can be booked ahead of time on-line. Another themed restaurant on the water that has a swimming pool is called Coconuts Caribbean Beach Bar & Grill (https://www.coconutsatthelake.com) and it is a few miles north by boat. There are also some local bars, restaurants, and a Dollar General (with light groceries) an 8 min drive from the house. If you are interested in a large selection of restaurants, shopping, go-carts, miniature golf, bigger grocery stores, and concrete ice cream you can head to the quaint Lake Ozark Strip on Bagnell Dam Blvd or Osage Beach (both about 25 miles away). And don't forget to check out some of the local caves around the lake if you are caught on a rainy day or just want to get out of the sun for a day. PLEASE NOTE: We are a family-friendly/mature adult type of rental in a residential neighborhood. If this is a "party all night" or bachelor party type of trip, please do not try to book. We encourage everyone to relax and have a great time while also respecting the property and the neighbors. Thank you.
