TreeHouse at Hauser Lake Idaho

Firstly please be aware that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the pricing has had to be increased due to the extra deep-cleaning that we are enforcing. Our cleaning crew are here to make sure that your stay is as clean and safe as we can possibly make it. This is a beautiful 1 bed Treehouse on 10 acres of wilderness in the Idaho panhandle. Situated among the trees..... you have the decking where you can view Hauser Lake itself and from the bedroom window you will see the rolling mountains of Washington State. Oh yeah by the way if you can't get that this is a house in a tree lol IT DOES SWAY!!! This completely off the grid Treehouse has solar energy (but does have a backup generator), a water catchment system allowing the guttering around the tin roof to collect all the water needed and then it deposits into an 850 gallon tank. Bathroom with shower and toilet situated at the back of the Treehouse, with an adequate kitchenette in the living area leading to comfortable seating with an old 19th century (circa 1865-1875) wood stove we found from a railroad, and then you have two huge double patio french doors that lead you out on to the decking to just simply enjoy those wonderful surroundings. This is an all season TreeHouse so snowshoes are necessary in the winter time to get to the TreeHouse. Whether you want the warm summer with boating and fishing or the snow filled mountains with ice fishing and skiing.... this area has it all. Built to our specifications by the famous show team of "The Treehouse Guys" from the DIY series. This team are known for getting one-of-a-kind construction projects off the ground. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS A COMPLETELY OFF THE GRID TREEHOUSE, FROM WHERE YOU PARK YOUR CAR ON THE ACCESS ROAD..... IT IS A 275 FOOT CLIMB WITH A 32 DEGREE INCLINE SO, PLEASE BE AWARE THIS MAY NOT BE FOR EVERYONE. THIS IS NOT IDEAL FOR THE ELDERLY AND DOES NOT HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS. IT HAS A SOLAR ENERGY AND A WATER CATCHMENT SYSTEM WITH MINIMALIST FURNISHINGS, IT IS A STYLE THAT IS RUSTIC BUT COMFORTABLE AND FUNCTIONAL. IT HAS ALL THE NECESSARY ITEMS (SEE BELOW).... IN OTHER WORDS IT IS A GLAMPERS PARADISE, THIS IS NOT A HILTON HOTEL WITH A SHOPPING MALL ON THE CORNER - SO PLEASE SEE THE PHOTOS AND BE HAPPY IN KNOWING THAT THIS IS A GORGEOUS ESCAPE FROM THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF EVERYDAY LIFE. ITEMS AVAILABLE ARE: Comfortable Queen Mattress Full Bedding Hot Running Water Hot Shower Composting Toilet Towels Electrical Outlets with USB Ports to allow those precious little cell phone and laptops to be charged :) Solar Lighting/Electricity - YOU CANNOT USE HAIR DRYERS, CURLING IRONS, or COFFEE POTS or bring any other electrical appliances other than cell phones and computers (If you must) **You will be responsible for replacing the inverter if it blows due to banned electric appliances** Although it is tempting to bring a child, please understand this TreeHouse is not child safe, therefore, we do not recommend bringing children. If you do decide to bring children, upon booking, you accept all legal responsibility for any accident, fall or injury of your child during your stay.
