Old Milford House is the charming farmhouse with a white picket fence and large manicured gardens that was built in 1865 for the proprietors of Union Cheese Factory. It has all the charm from the past which includes original plank floors, crown moldings, beautiful antique furniture pieces along with all the modern amenities desired including the chef's kitchen, bathroom (with heated floors) and large family room with games, foosball table and comfy couch. This house is perfect for families and friends who are looking to spend some quality time together. Aside from the close proximity to the beaches, wineries and towns (5 minutes from Picton), Old Milford House is the perfect spot to entertain. There is an amazing outdoor screened in porch where you can enjoy nature without the bugs! The large yard, play structure and basketball court are perfect to keep the kids (or adult kids!) occupied as you supervise from the lounging areas. We encourage you to play and enjoy the outdoors at Old Milford. Have a game of football/soccer, sit by the bonfire roasting marshmallows or sit by the pond and observe the wildlife. There is so much to do, but most of all it's a great place to relax and unwind. Old Milford House is and was meant for families and friends to spend quality time together. We have carefully designed the inside so that quality pieces can be enjoyed by our guests.
