Renovated with care and attention to detail, this little gem on Lake of Bays is a great addition to our portfolio. Tucked into a small bay, away from the bustle of the main lake, this is a peaceful location to relax and chill out. While the area in front of the cottage isn't good for swimming, the owners have thoughtfully provided 3 kayaks, so you can paddle out to a small island just outside the bay and enjoy a good swim in clear water. The cottage itself looks small from the outside but is surprisingly spacious once you step inside. With a very well-equipped kitchen, the cottage cook is going to enjoy spending time in there, while the rest of the group can relax in the living area or on the deck. Three bedrooms are on the main floor along with a good-sized bathroom, while the master bedroom and additional bathroom are located on the lower level, which has a door to the exterior. The grassy area on the waterside of the property is nicely shaded and has a fire ring surrounded by log stools where you can enjoy the campfire on a starry night. Towns-End is located in a great spot only 20 minutes from either Huntsville, Bracebridge or Dorset. The little town of Baysville, which is home to the Lake of Bays Brewery, a couple of great restaurants, a bakery specialising in butter tarts, and a general store is just a 5 minute drive. There is so much to do in the area you may want to plan a few full days out - or just stay put, fish, paddle, read a few books, and relax. It's vacation time!
