Moonlight Lodge - Catskills, Windham Mountain, Hunter Mountain

Summary: @stayatlina Located in Cairo NY, this house has three separate apartment units that make up the entire house rental. This home is recently renovated and great for large groups that want to vacation together but still have a little bit of their own private space. Please note each apartment unit has its own entrance. The home has the thoughtful charm to be your home away from home, but also includes many of the in-home amenities you might expect from a resort hotel. Nestled just above Kaaterskill Wild Forest, Moonlight Lodge is only a 20 min drive to Windham Mountain and approximately 30 min drive to Hunter Mountain. The location is perfect for winter skiing, sledding, and snowboarding. In the fall, hike below the beautiful foliage, and in the spring/summer be sure to check out the nearby swimming holes more hiking, antiquing, and local farms & vineyards. The Space: Sleeping Arrangements Unit 1 has one traditional bedroom and can sleep 4 guests. With 1 King Size Bedroom, and 1 Sofa Bed in the Living Room. Unit 2 has one traditional bedroom and can sleep 4 guests. With 1 King Size Bedroom, and 1 Sofa Bed in the Living Room. Unit 3 has two traditional bedrooms and can sleep 4 guests. With 1 King Size Bedroom, and 2 double beds. Our bedrooms feature Casper Mattresses, quality linens, and is thoughtfully decorated. There is a Smart TV in each bedroom as well, where you can easily sign into your Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming account. Our bedrooms also have a spacious closet with shelving so you can comfortably unpack for your stay. Each room has its own climate control so that guests can adjust to their individual preference. With this assortment, you will find room for your entire group to spread out. The Kitchen Each Unit at Moonlight Lodge has its own kitchen, equipped with all new appliances and finishes. They are fitted out with things such as cooking utensils, pots and pans, general spices, and basically all the tools you need to make morning pancakes, spaghetti bolognese dinner, and everything in between. (Groceries not provided.) For morning coffee, there is a k-Cup machine and coffee pods, but you are welcome to use your own flavors as well. A regular coffee brewer is provided too. You will find all the dish ware, serve ware, and drink ware you need for such a large group to dine, but don’t worry, we have you covered with a dishwasher too. Bathrooms There is one bathroom in each of the three Units at Moonlight Lodge. Units 1 & 3 features both a shower with a rain head and body sprayers as well as a separate bathtub perfect for filling with bubbles or salts to kick back and relax. Unit 2 does not have the soaking tub but does have the same wonderful rain shower head and body sprayers. All of our bathrooms are stocked with toiletries, a hair dryer, and super plush towels. More Each Unit has its own entertaining area, located adjacent to the dining and kitchen areas. In the living rooms you will find a sofa for relaxing, a coffee table, and a 65” Smart TV, perfect to gather around and relax. Also in-unit is a washer and dryer for your use. Outdoors Step out the back door of Unit 3 and you will find yourself on an expansive wood deck with table and seating for 6. If BBQ-ing is your thing, we have you covered with a propane grill. An extra tank is provided in case the one there runs low and needs to be swapped out. Guest Access: Guest can enjoy the privacy of the entire house. The Neighborhood: There are two markets nearby as well as a wine & liquor store for your convenience. This house is so well located that you will find great Food & Drink options moments away, including Log Cabin Cafe, Red Rooster Roadhouse, O'Neill's Cafe, Dalton’s Donuts, Barnwood, Murphy’s Law, and Bistro 27. Just a little further away (15 or so minute drive) you’ll find an even broader assortment including J&J Smokehouse BBQ, The Avalon Lounge, La Conca D'oro, 394 Main, New York Restaurant, Cone E Island Ice Cream, and so much more. If you are looking for the great outdoors, there’s something for everyone - year round. At Kaaterskill Wild Forest (just 20 minutes away) you’ll find some of the best hiking New York State has to offer, with a variety of trails for all levels, and enjoyable through the different seasons of the year. A 20 minute drive out and you will find yourself at Windham Mountain with 85 skiable acres and 54 trails over two peaks, 6 terrain parks and 11 lifts. Slightly further away you will find Hunter Mountain with 320 skiable acres, 67 trails, 13 lifts, and Hunter Mountain’s nearly 1000 feet long tubing hill, a “no-skills” fun activity for the whole family. In the summer, enjoy a day at Zume Flume Water Park or spend some time at North-South Lake Campground (just 30 min away) where you can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and playgrounds for the lil travelers. These are just a few of the fun activities that away you when you book your stay at Moonlight Lodge. Other Things to Note: CHECK IN The check-in will be contactless and keyless. Before you arrive, we will send you the code to the door lock. PARKING Please feel free to utilize the entire driveway for your vehicles throughout the length of your stay. Note that we are not responsible for personal items left in your car. HOUSE ACCESS The entire house is yours for the length of your stay. Note that this home does sit along a main road and occasionally the traffic can be heard from inside. OUTSIDE GUESTS If you'd like to add an additional guest to the booking, please be sure to add them to the reservation or reach out to Stay at Lina team if your stay has already begun. We can typically accommodate up to the max number of guests noted on the original listing and no more. We cannot offer customer service for extra people who don’t have an official reservation through the platform, and any liability waivers won’t apply. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS SECURITY Stepping out of the house? Keep your belongings safe and secure by remembering to close and lock all the doors and windows before leaving the property. CHECK OUT Our check-out time is at 11:00 AM. Please make sure to do the dishes (it’s ok to place the remaining dishes in the dishwasher and start the cycle), take the trash out and close the door before leaving. Don’t forget to do a final walk thru of the house to make sure you haven’t left behind any personal items. FRIENDS OF MOTHER NATURE Please note that we are located in the countryside, surrounded by trees and foliage. Although we have regularly scheduled pest control services in and around the home and yard, you are still likely to see a few insects or other living beings from Mother Nature. We ask that you do your best to keep outside doors closed as much as possible to limit the amount of outdoor creatures from sneaking in. PETS We love dogs and allow them in our houses, but please let us know if your are bringing your furry friend(s) along. Please understand that all of our furniture and decor is new and dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds. You will be responsible for any visible wear or damage your dogs may cause. The maximum number of dogs we allow is two. Interaction with Guests: The check-in will be contact-less. Before your arrival, you will be given the code to access the house.
