Summary: This spacious and charmingly updated farmhouse is an historic landmark homestead built in 1875. Nestled in the midst of 5 acres of what was once a working apple orchard, the property offers an idyllic countryside setting just 10 miles from downtown Traverse City, close to pristine beaches on East Grand Traverse Bay, and just a few miles from the popular Flintfields Horse Park. Guests enjoy access to the entire farmhouse, with extensive hand-crafted woodwork throughout. There is room to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests with its 4 bedrooms. Please Note: All guests staying at this property must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation. Exploring this lovely landscape will be even more enjoyable with your dog! You and your guests may bring up to 2 pooches to romp about the orchard while you breathe in the fresh country air! There will be a separate dog fee of $150 for one dog or $200 for two dogs, charged prior to arrival. Please take your pup with you when you leave the home or at the very least kennel them. We cannot have sad, lonely barking dogs bothering our neighbors. Please be considerate and clean up after your pet. This unique property is the perfect spot for families, friends, retreats, and small gatherings of all kinds… use your fruitful imagination, and come visit all that the Grand Traverse Bay area has in store for you all year long! ***YOU SHOULD KNOW*** In addition to the apple orchard, the property also has a small cottage that houses a long-term-year-round tenant. They are not the property owners, nor are they members of the property management team. They use a separate entrance to the property, have their own parking, and share no utilities with the farm house. Completely private and separate. The other structures on the property are a large barn, gift shop and nursery, none of which are still actively used. They were a part of this formerly functional orchard operation.
