Shahala Valhalla Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' Bright, spacious, and fantastic for families, this two-story getaway is ideal for those looking for a change of scenery while still being within an hour's drive of Vancouver and Portland. Prepare anything from quick breakfasts to full-course dinners in the open, well-equipped, eat-in kitchen and then settle into one of two inviting living spaces. Outside, the dogs and the kids will have a great time in the lush, grassy yard, while you dine at the picnic table and take in the incredible mountain views. This home also features four cozy bedrooms including a king suite and three additional bedrooms with plush queen-size beds. What's nearby: This location provides easy, year-round access to hiking, boating, fishing, skiing, and so much more, yet the setting itself is secluded and free from the noise and distractions of everyday life. The community also offers a tennis court, a nine-hole golf course, and an 18-basket disc golf course, with tournaments held for hundreds of players on weekends. Surrounded by national and state parks, wildlife reserves, and the magnificent Columbia River, with its world-class windsurfing and kiteboarding, you'll still be less than eight miles from charming Stevenson, and about five-and-a-half miles from the iconic Bridge of the Gods. And just a couple miles away, Beacon Rock State Park (named by Lewis and Clark for the prominent geologic feature that's also a popular climbing site) is a 5,100-acre park with several scenic trails for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Things to Know The family dogs are welcome with a small nightly fee If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $20 nightly fee will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: Parking in the driveway. Garage is not accessable. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.
