Summary: Located on 655 beautiful acres, this site in Lake D'Arbonne State Park is a perfect base camp for exploring all that the park has to offer. Lake D'Arbonne, the centerpiece of the park, is a delight for outdoors enthusiasts interested in boating, fishing, water skiing and swimming. There are trails to wander through the piney woods or meandering hills of this beautiful land. The park also features a swimming pool, visitor's center and a tennis complex. This campsite is equipped with a pre-set sturdy canvas tent on it's own wooden deck platform. The tent is furnished with a queen-size memory foam mattress, side tables, and a propane tent heater. A picnic table, fire pit with a grill, a solar shower, and portable camp loo are also provided, and campers are able to use the park's restroom facilities as well. There is an additional pop up tent provided for extra guests, but you will have to bring your own air mattresses/sleeping pads for this tent. The Space: Furnished campsite in Lake D'Arbonne State Park Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite set up in partnership with Lake D'Arbonne State Park. Our campsites are typically set up off-the-grid, which means they do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed inside. Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided (you’re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling -Bedding and pillows -Lanterns and lighting -Firewood for the campfire -Water Bathroom Facilities: Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry! Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. Tentrr guests will also have access to state park bathroom facilities in the immediate area of their site and across the park. Please be advised that some facilities will not always be right next to your site. Also, some bathroom facilities in the park may be closed seasonally. Other Things to Note: Be sure to bring your own food, firewood and bedding. There is no electricity available at your Tentrr site. Anything you pack in, you must pack out. This is "leave no trace" camping. All trash MUST be deposited in a designated receptacle at the end of your stay. If you do not follow this rule, you will be charged a cleaning fee. Have a wonderful stay! Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a Tentrr Camp Guide submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set! Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please reach out to Tentrr Customer Support at (888) 798-9093 or at [email protected].
