John and Lana's Cozy Mountain View Hideaway

Spacious two story house in the gateway to the west. Homey, comfortable and clean. Shady backyard for the kids and furry family friends. Quiet neighborhood, but a brief walk to the grocery store, restaurants and the best in thrift shop treasures. Centrally located with short scenic drives to The Sand Dunes National Park, geothermal swimming pool and spa, Wolf Creek Ski Area, Pagosa Springs, Adams State College and Historic Creede with its renowned Repertory summer theatre. You'll want to return. In addition to the two private bedrooms there is a large open space at the top of the stairs with plenty of room for the air mattress and more sleeping bodies on the floor. In the spring the yard is surrounded with fragrant Lilac bushes. In later summer you might enjoy a snow pea or two from the garden. The front porch with its two easy chairs is a special spot for chatting and catching the sunset. We are self-employed, taking care of private homes, churches and rentals. Living 50 miles away we visit this home periodically in the summer to tend to the yard and garden. We are just a phone call away. We also like to hang out there after we visit the swimming pool/spa and/or a concert at Society Hall in Alamosa. (check out the schedule when you are here.) About a block away, there is a Safeway grocery store. Nice restaurants and thrift stores just blocks away Our neighbor, David, will probably check you out. He is a dear heart.
