Welcome to our Beautiful cabin located in the quaint Columbine Lake neighborhood on a double wooded lot (over ½ acre). We named it "Gummy Bear Cabin" after our favorite candy - this cabin has 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms which include 1 King, 3 Queen, and a Queen Pullout Bed (in the finished basement with a gas fireplace – cozy warm!). Cozy great room includes family room with gas fireplace and kitchen and kitchen table – on the main level – along with 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. There is a small desk and chair in the basement if you need to do some work/homework. Bed linens provided and all bathrooms have towels and basic necessities. The dining table accommodates 6 people, the kitchen bar stools seats another 4 people. Both immaculate & cozy inside with 2 gas fireplaces & every detail you could think of including WIFI, Xbox & games, movies, books, toys, board games, 3 Apple (smart 55", 50", 27") TV's, Bluetooth speaker, Washer/Dryer, pack-n-play, highchair, 2 refrigerators, sheets & towels, 2 adult sets and 2 kid sets of snowshoes, sleds & a 1 car garage. Decorated with shabby cabin chic details - you will find the finishing touches incredible yet very comfortable. Located on a quiet Cul-de-sac, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful Evergreen trees and the Colorado sunshine from the front porch, while enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktail. Grill out or watch the hummingbirds or the moose, elk, deer or fox that frequent the area often. Spend hours on the cornhole/bags or Kubb games in the flat area in front of the deck or take a scenic walk around Columbine Lake and drink in the Colorado beauty. The house is within close proximity to several attractions including Winding River Ranch (2 Minute drive), Rocky Mountain National Park Entrance (4 minute drive), the Town of Grand Lake (5 minute drive), snowmobile trails (5 minute drive) and the Grand Lake Golf Course (4 minute drive). The fully equipped kitchen includes all appliances, plenty of pots, pans, dishes, glassware, blender, mixer, coffee maker and Crock Pot; you will have everything you need to cook a nice meal including some basic spices and condiments. Relax in the upstairs Master Bedroom in the King Bed – this bedroom has a walk in closet big enough for a Queen bed – perfect for couples with young children. This master bedroom includes Smart Apple TV with streaming and a private full bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms on the main floor both have Queen Beds and share a full bathroom. There are also 2 comfy couches in the lower level, one of which has a pull-out Queen bed and the lower level also has a full bathroom and a washer/dryer, all kept cozy warm with a gas fireplace. The driveway can accommodate 6-8 cars or ATV/snowmobile trailers, we do require 4WD or AWD in the winter (usually mid October to early May) to get up/down the driveway. The Grand Lake area has plenty to do including: boating, sailing, fishing, hiking, shopping, golfing, dining, live theater, snowmobiling, skiing, snow shoeing, sleigh rides and sledding. Hot Sulphur Springs is only about 30 minutes away! The quaint town of Grand Lake has something for everyone with over 60 shops, restaurants, and galleries along with many festivals and firework shows. In the summer, you can enjoy the beach, swimming, rent a paddleboard, paddleboat, kayak or pontoon boat or fishing on one of the beautiful lakes, Grand Lake, Shadow Lake, or Lake Granby. You can take in a show at the renowned Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater. Columbine Lake is a private, covenant - controlled community. Renters are not allowed to use the clubhouse, gazebo, and horse pasture, OHVs or Columbine Lake. No street parking. Please plan on using one of the three local lakes only minutes away (Grand, Granby, and Shadow Mountain) for all your lake activities. Guests are welcome to use trash dumpsters & kids are welcome at the playground. No Smoking, No Pets and No parties. **The owner does occasionally bring up their dog (in case anyone has bad allergies). **Note---This house is located in Grand Lake. VRBO combines Grand Lake with Estes Park (2-4+ hour drive over Trail Ridge if it is open), Winter Park, Fraser, Tabernash and the town of Granby (20-50 Min Drive).
