Located in the Historic district of Miller Place, built in 1841, this beautiful Greek revival home sits on over 2 acres of property, backing up to over 70 acres of hiking trails and reserves. In the evening, you can catch deer and wild turkey roaming the yard. The home is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Upon pulling into the long blue stone driveway, two lions greet you at the over sized farmhouse door. The house has 4 bedrooms all located on the second floor. There is a bathroom on the main level as well as a full bath on the second level. The main floor includes a parlor room for reading and relaxing, a home office, a den with a large sofa and 75" television, and a formal dining room. In addition, the kitchen wing and laundry room sit on the main level. The house is a great place to work from home or to just escape life for a bit! Cedar Beach is about a 5 minute drive from the home. Port Jeff village, about a 10 minute drive, offers fine cuisine and dining options. The farm stands and vineyards of Eastern Long Island are all within about 30 minute ride from the home. If you're craving a sweet treat, McNulty's ice cream is a short walk away while passing the Miller Place Duck Pond. In the Fall, we are close to some of the best pumpkin picking Long Island has to offer! Fink's Farm in Wading River is only about a 20 minute ride, which has activities for the whole family. We are conveniently located near the Miller Place Inn and are accepting Bridal Parties and other events! Please note, there is an event fee for all events in addition to the nightly rate.
