Fun 5BR Lake Home - Perfect Winter Getaway!

Our home is a quintessential lake house, with a tiki bar twist! On beautiful Lake Brownwood, our house also has a large kitchen, perfect for entertaining more than one family. In December of 2019 we added a 75 inch TV for your family film or sports fest. We refurbished our bathroom upstairs and added new carpeting in August of 2019. The house is great for bachelorette parties and reunions and is near South Haven and Kalamazoo. Please note: primary renters must be over 25 years of age. We have a great tiki bar that overlooks the lake including a sound system. Lake Brownwood is about 30 feet from our deck and the water is clear and shallow near our pier. In addition our large kitchen is perfect for serving a large family with a dining room that serves 10 plus more 8 more seats at the tiki and breakfast bars. 5 bedrooms total. 3 bedrooms with king size beds. 1 bedroom has 2 single beds and the bunk room has 6 bunk beds and a separate bathroom and TV, perfect for a group of kids. Our 75 inch TV is great for your family film fest or for watching that big sporting event. Due to allergies in the family, pets are not allowed. We also have a great fire pit overlooking the lake with firewood. Feel free to use our canoe or kayak. You will have access to the entire home except for a storage room and garage. You can use our gas Weber grill, kayak and canoe as well. Wood for the fire pit is next to our shed. Please bring your own beach towels and life preservers. You can always reach me via the AirBnB text system. Our next door neighbor, Dave will typically be available for interaction during your stay. Located 5 minutes from downtown Paw Paw that features some great restaurants including Brewsters (bbq and bar food), 120 Taphouse & Bistro (great burgers), La Cantina (80 year old, family owned Italian, Amore (Pizza), and the Paw Paw Brewing Company in addition to two wineries and plenty of fast food options, the Sugar Bear (ice cream) plus two wineries - Warner Vineyards & St. Julian Winery. There is also a bowling alley and movie theater in town in case of bad weather. We are also about a half hour from 2 snow ski facilities and 25 minutes from Kalamazoo which is loaded with shopping, restaurants and nightlife options and home to Western Michigan University. Only a 25 minute ride to Lake Michigan and South Haven, where you can swim on the beach, hike in the dunes or sit along the canal at a bar or restaurant and watch the big boats come in and out of Lake Michigan! Downtown Paw Paw is about a 7 minute car ride. There are cab services available to Kalamazoo and surrounding towns. Lake Brownwood is very clear and shallow near our house. Great fishing for bass and bluegill plus the lake has pike, perch and walleye. The lake is an all sports lake between 11:30am and 7:30pm and no wake between 7:30pm and 11:30am. If you bring a boat, please note that all boat traffic must go around the lake in counter-clockwise direction. We have a pier that you are welcome to use and tie your boat to. Due to allergies in the family, pets are not allowed. We also have a keurig in the kitchen along with a coffee maker. Extra time spent sanitizing and cleaning between guests for your safety.
