What a wonderous, magical place to escape the hustle, bustle, hassle and humidity of the city, and just a couple of hours away. It’s just too good not to share! Perfect 4/2 is one of a two cabin property. One is my little getaway and the other can be yours, located on a spring fed lake in a private community just minutes from Big South Fork, Dale Hollow Lake, Muddy Pond and Historic Rugby. The clean, cozy cabin is nestled in the oaks just steps away from the large private covered dock. Take a soak in the hot tub, enjoy a camp fire, nap in a hammock, drop a line off the dock or just snuggle up with a good book and enjoy views of the lake & moss garden from the large covered decks. There’s something for everyone and the cabin is all yours! Even as the snowflakes continue to fall, rest assured…spring is near! I can’t wait until the spring nesting of the geese. Did you know, geese typically mate for a lifetime and can live up to 20 years? Our geese play a BIG part in our community and have chosen the perfect nesting spot on a clear point to the right of my dock. They will sit on-nest for up to 30 days. They persist through thunderstorms, wind, sun and anything else mother nature has to offer. Bottom line, family comes first! We could all learn a lot about life and community by watching the geese! My friend and neighbor Mary and I stop EVERYTHING when we hear the geese approaching. It never gets old! LOL…perhaps I’m the crazy goose lady!
