Though the unit has been renovated and nicely updated, the walls are on the thin side (we provide ear plugs and a white noise machine to help with this, but also ask our guests to be conscientious of noise as well, especially after quiet hours). Some of the pipes in the building are old. Water may not run clear when first turned on, but will run clear within seconds. There is a water filter in the fridge. This building features radiant heat, which can result in some light ticking or knocking sounds when the heat is operating. We provide a white noise machine for those who might be sensitive to these sounds. The air conditioning is a wall unit installed beneath the picture window in the living room.
