Exclusive riverfront campsite with panoramic nature views and unparalleled tranquility

Located directly on the side of the majestic Piscataqua River, and just outside of Howland & Medford Maine with their convenient amenities and friendly local atmospheres. Enjoy the pure sounds of nature of the river running and the wind rustling the trees when you stay on this unique site with nearly an acre to yourself, no immediate neighbors, and only very sparse vehicular traffic. An ideal spot for fly-fishing, fishing in general, kayaking, canoeing, and ATV trail riding for sure. Quiet 99.9% of the time. Just outside of town which feels safe and provides the access to great cell signal, and within ~15 minutes of two local convenient stores-- both of which have kitchens and one has a small meat cooler as well. It's very lush green with the wonderful sounds of the gurgling river over the rocks. Just under an acre to yourself to enjoy, firsyt the river, and forage for firewood, etc. Across the road is acres upon acres of pure forest owned by a large logging company. This space is for people who like to be left to their own and you should bring with you everything you need--should there be any reason or need to reach me of course please reach out via AirBnB and I will respond in a reasonable time. If there's an emergency please contact emergency services--dial 911. It's mostly very quiet, rural, and rustic. It's also very friendly. You can get around in your vehicle, RV, walking, bicycling, motorcycle, but also the area here is ATV/dirt bike friendly and may travel on the main roads. If you're wanting a spot for a small- to mid-size RV this is ideal. You can dump and fill water for just $5--or for free with fill-up--at Dysart's Restaurant & Truck Stop on 530 Coldbrook Rd, Hermon, ME 04401. They're likely on the way there and on the way back home for the majority of travelers, and depending on which other direction you may from or how long you're staying, it's only roughly a ~40 minute travel there from the site, and with plenty of access to stores and food along the way and there. Their RV dump and water fill station is available 24 hours and it's across the street from the main gas station/restaurant at the other Dysart building--follow the signs that the station is now around on the back right side of the building.
