The Lodge on Willow

The Lodge on Willow is a great place to escape to and enjoy all that the Colorado Rocky Mountains has to offer. Our home is in a densely wooded area with beautiful mature trees. You can explore the area and get a rural small town feel or you have the option to go to Breckenridge and enjoy all that a mountain ski town has to offer. No matter what time of year you choose to visit there is a plethora of activities to choose from. The Lodge on Willow was built in 2008 with a design that combines the rich historical mining heritage of the area with the modern comfort and architecture of the 21st century. When you first arrive at the Lodge on Willow you will see the first stage of the lodge that was built and designed to look like a mining mill from the exterior. You will also notice the rest of the lodge has a contemporary detail with a large deck and floor-to-ceiling windows, which both capture the Colorado blue skies and warming sunshine. When you enter the lodge you will instantly notice that everything inside, including the furnishings, kitchen accessories, and décor, speaks to the quiet mountain life style of a traveler seeking an intimate mountain adventure or getaway! The great room with an open floor plan forms the kitchen, dining, and living area with large south facing sliding glass doors, inviting the warmth of the sun and the beautiful outdoors into the home. The owners have taken great care to create an environment that is inviting, beautiful, and a place that you will want to visit time and time again. Guests have access to the entirety of the home with 5 bedrooms that can sleep up to 16 people comfortably with 1 King, 2 queen beds, 2 single bunk beds, and 2 twin/full bunk beds. Our fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and island top can accommodate your party comfortably and inspire the chef in your group. The entire Southern wall of the great room and kitchen has windows and patio doors that open out to a large deck with comfortable seating and the BBQ. Downstairs has a large family room that has a wet bar, spacious and comfortable seating for watching movies, playing board games, or just hanging out with friends and family. There is a hot tub located on the patio from the family room. We provide access instructions that do not require we meet up to exchange keys. However, we also provide contact information by which we can be reached 24/7 if you need anything. We are close by, but do not make daily check-ins. There is a fire pit on the property near the hot tub, as well as an air hockey table in the garage.
