A wonderful drive down a one lane gravel rd. with beautiful views of the mountains in both directions. The drive brings you to a relaxing quiet place to unwind with nature/star gazing. We have a great walk to Lake James. We are nestled at the bottom of Linville Gorge where you can find plenty of hiking and mountain biking trails. 1 1/2mito Fonta Flora brewery and 2 Paddys creek park. Morganton and Marion have lots of great restaurants. We are 1hr drive to Asheville and Boone/snow skiing/tubing. I am 4 person maximum! No parties or get togethers. I live next door. I keep coffee/powered creamer/sugar available. I keep herbal teas in the cabinet and honey from our bees that make it so much sweeter. I also keep waffles and syrup in the cottage This is a great place for adults with children. Very quiet and relaxing. It would be a great place for someone who likes to write. It is very peaceful. The host lives next door if you need anything. We are child friendly, I just like to know before booking. We have 4 acres and hiking trails in our back yard. We are here if you need us. If we can help we will. We live next door. It is a small neighborhood and pretty quiet and friendly. If you chose to go hiking and need help dropping off vehicles we can help. No parties or get togethers! I am 4 maximum. I live next door. We have fire pits. The 4 dogs are friendly and like to be petted. They sleep in the house at night for a peaceful nights sleep. I also have honey bees on the property, and the honey supplied is from them. I keep coffee, herbal teas, sugar and creamer on hand. In the shower I keep shampoo and conditioner. I also have body wash. Laundry detergent and softener is provided. It is like home away from home.
