This manse was built in 1850 and since then has been meticulously maintained and decorated with modern and antique furnishings in an international style The Bois Salon with an original wood presentation, spacious and elegantly appointed with a Queen bed made up with premium linens and cozy throws to nestle you into a peaceful rest. Guests will have their private bedroom and bathroom. A TV room, dining room and living room will be shared with other people in the house. We prefer to respect people's privacy and make sure they have everything they need and enjoy their time at St-Vallier. St. Vallier de Bellchasse is one of the ten prettiest villages in Quebec Perched on the shore of the magnificent St. Lawrence River, quiet beaches and walking trails are a five minute walk from the Presbytere. Within a thirty minute driving radius there are many charming towns to explore. A heritage estate is located outside of town ( a short drive or bike ride away ). there are extensive and enchanting grounds culminating in an astounding stone promontory overlooking the river. A daily local arts and crafts sale is located in the church next to the presbytere during the summer months. There is popular fromagerie with a coffee and gift shop on the eastern edge of town. For local dining , the local bistro , La Mauve , is a 90 second walk away. Excellent coffee and light fare, charcutierie, cheeses and produce with fresh baked goods are offered daily from local and bio dynamic and organic sources. Licensed for beer and wine. The view from the rooftop terrace is not to be missed. We are located 2kms from Exit 356 on the Trans Canada Highway, halfway point between Halifax and Toronto. St. Vallier is 25 min. from the Pont Pierre Laporte into Quebec City on Highway 20. A car is needed to get in the area. Parking is available at the front of the Presbytère. A substantial breakfast, with Gluten Free and Vegetarion options are included in the listed price. We are home to three magnificent cats and a small and shy dog so sadly we cannot accommodate your own pets. Not suitable for small children.
