The Dome Seaforth near Manly

The Dome combines stunning Architecture with a peaceful bushland setting and beautiful water views. 10 minutes from Manly and it's beaches, 30 minutes from Sydney CBD. Both bedrooms offer extensive views. Min 7 night. The Dome was designed by Stan Symonds and features two storey windows, with unique Mezzanine design, overlooking Middle Harbour and surrounding bushland. The Dome has featured in Architecture Publications and exhibitions, such as Form To Formless at Sydney's Customs House. Tim Ross has performed one of his "Man About The House" shows at The Dome. SPECIAL UPDATE - The Dome has currently been empty for over 48 hours. We maintain strict cleaning and disinfecting procedures between guests. All surfaces are disinfected thoroughly. Linen and towels are hot washed. The Dome upstairs comprises an entrance room, 2 bedrooms (all with spectacular views), study with Wi Fi and full bathroom. Main bedroom has Queensize bed and walk in wardrobe. Second bedroom has a King single bed with full mattress trundle that converts to a Kingsize bed. There is also some flexibility with using the single trundle in either the study or entrance room to create a third bedroom. Down the spiral staircase to open plan dining area with Parker table comfortably seating 8. The sunken lounge has a Bose sound system and a 48" flatscreen TV featuring Apple TV with Netflix and Stan. There is a large glass fronted combustion wood burning fireplace and also a gas heater and reverse cycle air conditioner. The fully equipped kitchen features Bosch appliances, dishwasher and seperate pantry room. The laundry has a Bosch frontloading washing machine and there is also a seperate downstairs toilet. Outside flows to the tiled entertaining area with a large gas BBQ and long table seating 12. This flows to the fenced grassed garden and a round, heated outdoor bath. An indoor/outdoor pond is home to Carp and Native Bass. As our guests, we offer you full use of The Dome. Seaforth is a peaceful suburb, surrounded by bush with many Native Bird Species. There is a small local shopping centre, with restaurants and cafes. The nightlife and ocean or Harbour beaches of Manly are 10 minutes drive away. Fresh water Manly Dam, Garrigal National Park, Clontarf and Golf Courses are all nearby. Catch the free Hop Skip Bus to Stockland Shopping Centre then onto Manly or Clontarf. Take the Ferry or Fastcat to the City from Manly Wharf, or catch a regular bus south to the city or north to Palm Beach. There is also the regular BLine Bus Service from Manly Vale with parking available. The kitchen is fully equipped and generously supplied for easy entertaining. Unfortunately, due to the interior/exterior pond and upstairs balcony mezzanine bedroom design, The Dome in unsuitable for young children.
