Downstairs: Bedroom 1: two double beds, wardrobe, mirror, hair drier & USB plugs. Bathroom: hand & rain shower over bath, basin, toilet, heated towel rail and shaver/toothbrush plug. Snug: sofa, bookcase, USB plugs, high speed fibre WIFI hub & HIVE water/heating control. WC: separate WC with basin & toilet. Dining room: 8 seat table open plan to kitchen. Kitchen: electric range with 2 ovens & grill, fridge/freezer, microwave, dish washer, washing machine, kettle, 4 slice toaster, Tassimo coffee maker, recycle bin, garbage bin, fire extinguisher, & fire blanket. Dining room linked by sliding door to the Conservatory. Conservatory: 7 seating, high speed floor fan, oil heater & Smart TV WIFI access to Netflix, Amazon Prim, Disney plus etc. Courtyard: off Conservatory, paved, enclosed with an eight seat picnic table, charcoal BBQ and windy drier. Beach access: direct access through courtyard gate, steps over flood defence wall onto beach front promenade for walking/cycling path and beach. Upstairs: NO child proof gates on the stairs. Bedroom 2: Main bedroom with King size bed, wardrobe, mirror, hair drier, USB plugs, side tables, bedside lamps & sea view. Bedroom 3: on higher split level has two single beds, wardrobe, mirror, 1 USB plugs, side table, & bedside lamp. All bedrooms have coat hangers, spare blankets and luggage racks. Lounge: is upstairs over looking the beach & sea 180 degrees, 2x three seater leather couches, 55" Smart TV wifi connected, Freeview TV and access to your Netflix,Amazon & Disney plus accounts. Balcony: glass barrier with outdoor seating furniture. Outside: Garage: carpeted for storing bikes, canoes/kayaks, windsurfers and kites for duration of your stay. Parking: 3 car off-street parking on driveway. Sea to Sky Cottage is a two storey townhouse style residence in a quiet neighbourhood on the bus route; - free off street parking for 3 cars; - enclosed back courtyard with direct access stairs over wall onto the beach; - garage to store bicycles, wind & kite surfers and kayaks, which is for guest use for the duration of their booking. Closest local pub is 1/2 mile. Childrens park 1/2 mile west opposite The Nab parking area. Walk/Cycle beach promenda west from Sea to Sky courtyard gate to outdoor fitness equipment area, ice cream parlor, pizza, fish & chips, beach railway, Funfair and amusment hall. I am available on cell/mobile phone and Airbnb email for the duration of your stay to answer questions pertaining to the property and provide general advice on Hayling Island as a holiday/short break destination. The day before your arrival an email via Airbnb will be sent providing the key safe code, instructions to access the property and full address for satnav coordinates. Closest family pub for drinks is Lily's Bar about 200 yards from Sea to Sky Cottage. Fish & Chips at Coastguard Cafe is 0.8 mile walk west along the beach promenade. Drift restaurant for pizza, over looks Sparkes Marina (east along the beach front) is approximately 1 mile walk. Hayling Island has many restaurants serving a variety of foods and take-aways. Hayling Island is a typical English seaside holiday destination. Numerous restaurants, fish & chips, ice cream parlour, seaside railway, donkey sanctuary, Funland, windsurf, kitesurf, stand-up paddle board, canoe , golf course, off shore boating and fishing. Lily's Bar, 12 Creek Road, a three minute walk from Sea to Sky Cottage. Opposite the car park 300 yards west is a council children's outdoor play area. Adizone outdoor fitness area: out Sea to Sky courtyard beach gate & right half a mile to beach front fitness area. Flat running/walking on promenade that extends along the beach side of Sea to Sky Cottage. The island bus routes (30/31) pass the property, giving access to all destinations on the island and a major shopping centre just off island. Cycle and walking paths have been set up along the beach front and routes marked for circumventing the whole island. A ferry crosses to Portsmouth mainland from the South-West point of the island. There is free parking for three cars at Sea to Sky Cottage and pay parking along the southern beach front at a number of locations to access attractions. No additional guests in addition to the number of people listed for the booking, are to be invited to Sea to Sky. No family and/or friends gatherings and no parties inviting people who are not booked guests, to join you at the property. This is a residential neighbourhood so please respect the quiet hours between 10pm to 9am and no loud music at anytime. A travel cot and/or highchair is available if requested at the time of booking, as these items are only made available in Sea to Sky when requested. The heating/hot water is adjusted on the Hive thermostat next to the front door. Press buttons on top left and right for boost of hot water or heating. If the temperature is warm due to weather please open windows and sliding door for a through breeze. A high volume fan is located in the dining room. For heating check that radiators are turned up to 6 in each room and a large free standing oil heater is located in the conservatory for additional local heating. Hot water is by a Solar Water Panel on the roof which is supplemented by a gas boiler when dark.
