Kuruwitu beach, home of Kenya’s first marine reserve, is 15 minutes away. Its turquoise waters are home to over 200 fish species and its white sands are nesting sites for sea turtles. The Vipingo-owned restaurant offers food, drinks and cocktails during the day. Haller park is a beautiful nature park in Bamburi where wildlife is kept in a near natural environment. The tropical vegetation is home to Crocodiles, Hippos, Giraffes, Elands, Oryx and Giant Tortoises, whilst the cheeky Vervet monkeys entertain everyone. Fort Jesus and Mombasa Old Town provide a fascinating insight into the history of the region. The marine reserve at Malindi/Watamu offers beautiful beaches and world class snorkelling and diving. Combine a visit to the coast with a safari - local tour operators can provide tours to all Kenya’s parks including Masai Mara, Tsavo and Amboseli. We can provide transfers from the airport and arrange taxis if required. A car is recommended. There is ample parking within the compound.
