Our quite and comfy home is conveniently located less than 2 miles from I-91, but a 1/4 mile down a country road giving you lots of privacy. The cottage is less than a mile from Crump 'N Fox Golf; 2 miles from Northfield Mount Hermon; 10 minutes from Greenfield & Stoneleigh Burnham; 15 min to Brattleboro, Deerfield Academy, Bement & Eaglebrook; 20 min to UMass, Amherst & Northampton; 30 minutes to Keene NH & Shelburne Falls and 45 min to the Basketball Hall of fame in Springfield & Mt Snow VT. The cottage is the last house on a well maintained country road. Newly remodeled, this efficient open floor plan has a full kitchen, two bedrooms, cable, wifi, lots of privacy and a convenient location. Full access to the house including the washer and drier in the basement. There is a large field and hiking trails on the other side of the road. The barn is not available When we travel, we like the hands off approach so we will be doing the same, unless needed as we do live next door. The idea of the cottage is for a quite peaceful getaway, like you were traveling to your own country retreat. We've been living here for the past 18 years and can't think of living somewhere else. Living on a quite road, but close to 91 makes country living easy and convenient. There's two great restaurants, two pizza places an American style diner, dunkin donuts and a convenience store/deli within a few miles. *** Because of COVID-19, we have instituted a 24 hour block before each reservation and will need to spend more time cleaning so our daily rate and cleaning fee have increased during this time. ***
