The condo is in a small building with four other condos. This condo is on the first floor. You will have access to the entire condo along with the basement and the front porch. I live in Buffalo, New York which is just an hour and a half away and I also have a person that lives in Chautauqua that is available if need be. Chautauqua Institution is a community on the shores of Chautauqua Lake in southwestern New York state. Chautauqua County is located less than three hours from Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Rochester, Niagara Falls, and Toronto and within an easy drive from Buffalo and Erie. Parking is available on the street in front of the condo during the off-season and in an Institution parking lot during the season which runs from late June through August. Chautauqua is a great place to vacation. The Chautauqua Institution has two 4-star rated golf courses and there are several other golf courses in the area. There are also tennis courts, a small beach and lots of great places to see on a walk. Tour America's Grape Country with over 30,000 vineyard acres, 23 wineries known as Lake Erie Wine Country, and the Grape Discovery Center along a 50-mile stretch of Lake Erie's shoreline. Chautauqua County boasts a diversity of trail areas and scenic parks for hiking, off-road cycling, and birding. Fall in Chautauqua County is marked by gorgeous foliage, harvest flavors and haunted events. Winter activities in Chautauqua include hiking, skiing, snowboarding, horse-drawn carriage rides and shopping. Check out the National Comedy Museum in Jamestown which is approximately a 25 minute drive away. The Chautauqua Institution "season" runs for 9 weeks in the summer.
