Four Season Lake Front Cottage

Cozy, lake front cottage is the perfect retreat for rest and relaxation or visiting family and friends for the holidays. This newly updated home is surrounded by trees and is steps from the Burden Lake waters. Enjoy all lake life has to offer year round. Once Winter arrives, settle in for a few days of skiing (Jiminy Peak Ski Resort is 20 minutes away), skating, ice fishing, snow shoeing or just relaxing with an outdoor fire. The knotty pine interior and contemporary furnishings create a relaxing atmosphere. Skylights provide natural light to the open living space and loft. The kitchen is newly renovated with new cabinets, appliances and is stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils. There is one private bedroom with a queen bed and a loft with two twin beds. All bedding is provided. The enclosed front porch is a great spot for relaxing in the evening. A charcoal grill is provided on the back deck, along with 4 Adirondack chairs around the fire pit in the yard. There is a table with 4 chairs and umbrella on the deck. The enclosed porch has seating and lighting to sit out and enjoy the scenery even during inclement weather. Self check in with lock box. The Cottage is located on private property and the owners live next door. Although you'll feel like you're in the country, amenities are minutes away. Restaurants include Kay's Pizza (closes mid-October for the Winter), Lakeview on Crystal Lake, La Perla, Paolo Lombardi's Ristorante, The Towne Tavern, Old Daley on Crooked Lake, Pam's Country Kitchen at Youngs Pharmacy. Other attractions include the Sand Lake Walking Trail, Butler Park, East Greenbush Town Park, Regal Cinemas, Hannaford grocery store, Heller's Wine and Spirits and Young's Pharmacy just to name a few. A car is necessary for getting around. Because we are located in a rural area, there is no public transportation. Uber is available if visiting by train or plane.
