30 minutes outside of Corner Brook in Gillams, the scenic Bay of Islands, you’ll find this quaint, cozy 2 bedroom cottage with a million dollar view. Enjoy the lovey deck and BBQ on a warm evening, nearby walking trails, beaches, boat tours, fishing in season, nearby tern colony. We have a marina with boat launch just 5 mins up the road. The cottage itself has a well equipped kitchen, some recent upgrades with the best view you could hope for. Set up for 4 guests but air mattress if needed. You will have a huge front lawn with fire pit, sand box and swings for kids. Wake to the sounds of the white throated sparrow and other small birds for the bird enthusiasts Lots of parking I, the host, am located just minutes away and am easily accessible during your stay. I can provide recommendations on things to do, places to go, or provide assistance if any issues arise during your stay. Very quiet and private location. Located about a two hour drive from Gros Morne National Park, about half an hour from the Man in the Mountain trail, half an hour away from the city of Corner Brook where you will find restaurants, local breweries, bars, and shopping. You can enjoy salmon or cod fishing when in season, and various salt and fresh water beaches nearby. Great location for bird watching, hikes (both short and long), waterfalls and very near to Marble Mountain. Also a great location for ATVs and snowmobiling.
