Home has three very spacious rooms that fits a total of 6 guests. *Master bedroom with king size bed and private bathroom with magnificent view to the countryside and city. *Second bedroom has queen size bed. *Third bedroom has two twin beds. *Each room has its own AC unit (entire house does NOT have AC). *Spacious kitchen Fully equipped with cooking utensils, stove, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. *Amazing living room with TV equipped with free Netflix and Direct TV. *House has a private pool area with outdoor living room for relaxing at the pool that is private only for your use and its connected to the house. Pool area also has a gas BBQ grill. *Relaxing balconies with amazing view of the city and a relaxing hammock space. Perfect getaway peaceful island retreat located at driving distance from amazing beaches, tourist attractions and hundreds of restaurants. Check In: -4:00pm -Early check-in is unavailable, If you would like to check in early, you must book the night before. Check out: -11:00am -Late check-out is unavailable, If you would like to check out late, you must book the night after. Important Notes: -Under law no visitors allowed on the property only guest. -Our cancellation policy remains, you will book knowingly, government restrictions may be extended through the year, in order to stay with us you must agree to comply with the law. -We provide copy of the Puerto Rico Executive Order in effect to know restrictions. -Only 6 guest maximum. -Just as a reminder to our guests no parties allowed and no visitors, max of 6 guests allowed, only a max of two cars allowed and no street parking available. -We do not allow you to bring sleeping bags nor air mattresses. Car: -We highly encourage renting a car as Villa Maxine is on a mountain top and although its 5 minutes away from downtown Guaynabo, the roads to the house are rural mountain roads and no taxi services reach the property. Road: -The road to our Villa is always a conversation topic, the last 2 minutes of your trip to the Villa are driving on a narrow road to the house. Although its not steep, it’s narrow, two cars fit very tightly, if you are not used to driving in mountains it can be an experience. Keep in mind Puerto Rico is an island, you will have these roads in mountain areas everywhere. It will be worth the drive! Host Greeting: -Check in will start at a meeting point very close to the house, were our house manager Mayra will greet you and show you the way to the villa. The reason we do this its because there is a small part of the road to the house that is rural and its not recognized by internet maps. Travel Time: -Please consider reasonable travel times, our host Mayra will greet you upon arrival as we do not have self check in available. House/Pool keeping: -To keep nightly rates accessible and affordable for you, we do once a week full pool maintenance and we do NOT have daily cleaning staff of any type, daily costs would blow prices. Restrictions: -ONLY guests over 21 years of age can reserve, copy of picture ID will be required for check-in and we require you to read and sign our contract. Pets/Service dogs: -We have a no pet policy, if you have a service dog you must submit paperwork that demonstrates pet is a service animal and there will be an additional non refundable cleaning fee of $150. Post stay we will need to inspect property for any pet damages and you will be responsible for any additional charges. You must notify prior to stay your intentions to bring a service dog. Insurance: -We always suggest you acquire travel insurance. Unforeseen events may occur and our strict policy may interfere, that way you are covered. Discounts: -Government employees interested in 14 days or more get a discount with proper government ID. This home is the perfect get away home, located on top of a mountain in the city in a very quiet neighborhood. There are five families that live in this quiet neighborhood on the mountains of Guaynabo. We love this home because of its privilege location country side next to the city, spectacular view and modern but yet Spanish architecture look. Very spacious with over 2000 sqft of living space, high ceilings, interior courtyard style pool area and spa theme rooms makes it a very cozy place to visit. Neighbors are quiet family oriented people one of who is police officer. We have an abandoned home in our tiny neighborhood that all the neighbors help keep it clean and tidy for our own benefit. If you are looking for tranquility, peaceful place to rest, vacation and retreat away from the city life but yet at driving distance to fine dining and night life, Villa Maxine is the place to visit. We highly recommend renting a car since the property is a property in the country/city side but yet, a four minute driving distance to Guaynabo downtown area and from many attractions including: -12mi to Luis Muñoz Marin airport (25 min drive) -11mi Condado (20 minute drive to beaches, clubs, restaurants, nightlife) -1.7mi Guaynabo downtown (restaurants, grocery stores, retail) -2.7mi to Cinemas -9.5mi to Plaza las Americas (our largest shopping mall counts with over 300 stores) -13mi Isla Verde (beaches, clubs, restaurants, nightlife) -13mi to Old San Juan (20 minute drive) -31mi to El Yunque Rainforest And more!
