Berwick is a funky town in the heart of the beautiful Annapolis Valley - an ideal location to explore orchards, vineyards, tides, farm markets and charming towns. Our bright, spacious and tastefully decorated flat is on our lovely country acreage, with gardens and private wooded trails. You are in a quiet, rural retreat yet only 3 minutes from town with groovy restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops and all amenities. This is one of the most vibrant areas of the Valley! Our private, 2-bedroom flat is completely furnished with everything you need for your stay. It has a bright, open lay-out with a full, new kitchen and outdoor patio. All linens are included in your stay as well as coffee, tea and light snacks. There is Wifi available and a TV set up with Netflix. There are lovely walking trails through our private woods. We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: - We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob and use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination - We clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists - We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay You will have the entire flat to yourselves. Check-in is self-serve. We will provide you with the code to the key box to retrieve your key. We live upstairs and are available by text message or in person, for all your questions. We have a detailed welcome book including our recommendations on restaurants, wineries, shops, hiking and biking trails and other Valley activities. The flat is in a private rural neighbourhood on the southwest side of the town of Berwick. We are very near the famous Jonny's Cookhouse and Ice Cream Shop on Highway 1. This is a rural country property so you will need to access us by vehicle or bicycle. The Town of Berwick and all its amenities is on the Kings County Transit line and we are a 3 min drive away. We are located just off the old Highway 1. The quaint fishing village of Harbourville and the wonders of the Bay of Fundy are 20 min away. We are a 30 min drive to: the seaside village of Halls Harbour and its famous Lobster Pound restaurant, the beautiful university town of Wolfville with boutiques and restaurants, and the wineries and vineyards of the Gaspereau Valley. In under an hour, you can explore the breathtaking historic town of Annapolis Royal or hike the stunning Cape Split or Blomidon Provincial Park. If it‘a beaches you are after, we are 40 min from both Kingsport and Evangeline Beaches; Aylesford Lake beach is only a 15 min drive. We are also near several beautiful golf courses. There is wonderful road and gravel cycling and you can access the Harvest Moon Trail (Grand Pre to Annapolis Royal) in minutes.
